Let’s Get Crafty! Canning Ring Flowers

Robotics Challenge

HURLEY, MS __East Central Public Library invites you to participate in an afternoon family challenge on November 15th. The challenge involves building a solar-powered robot using kits provided. Attendees will be divided into teams, and after building the robots, we will go outside to determine which robot performs best in a series of challenges. The challenge is a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) activity that aims to enhance your skills and knowledge in the field of robotics. Pascagoula Public Library to Host Book Signing Event with Local Author Angela Ashford

PASCAGOULA, MS – The Pascagoula Public Library is proud to announce a book signing event with local author, Angela Ashford, on Saturday, November 18th, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. The event will take place in the Children’s “Storypit”, located on the 2nd floor of the library.

Angela Ashford will be signing copies of her latest book, “Monster, Monster, Go Away!” published by Page Publishing. The book tells the story of Gabrielle, a little girl who learns to be brave and confronts her fear of monsters. Vancleave Library Friends host Annual Arts and Crafts Fair

Vancleave, MS _ The Vancleave Friends of the Library will host the 27th Annual Vancleave Arts and Crafts Fair and Book Sale at the Vancleave Public Library, on Saturday, November 18, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.

The annual event is a wonderful opportunity for crafters to market their handiwork, and for shoppers to buy great holiday gifts. Currently, more than 30 crafts and arts booth vendors will be present with many great gifts for Christmas gift giving.

Fun crafts for kids and entertainment will take place outside throughout the day. Going on inside the library will be the year’s biggest book sale with many nearly new items available at very low prices.

Friends of the Library secretary, Betty Ryals said, “This will be the largest event this year and it is one of the biggest community events for our area and is a significant Friends fund-raiser.
