Fall is here, which means apple cider, football, fall leaves, cooking homemade soup, and of course, pumpkins!! As a family, we have created a tradition of taking our daughter to pumpkin patches, which have been a lot of fun. Thankfully, there are a lot of fun pumpkin patches along the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Be sure, however, to double-check the hours and the websites before going.

Have fun at the pumpkin patches!! What are your favorite memories from pumpkin patches? Tell us in the comments below or on Facebook.

I am married, and I also have a 4-year-old daughter. I earned my Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi, and I have been teaching psychology classes over the past 10 years. As a professor and as a parent, I grew to love learning anything about child development. I recently turned that into a passion for helping other parents by starting my own blog at http://www.nurturingtamra.com.
