The Mississippi Sea Wolves will be returning to the Mississippi Gulf Coast for the 2022 season, announced yesterday evening to a sold-out crowd.

This is exciting news to the fans who have attended any or all of the three December games. The attendance at each game continued to grow with the final game selling out to a full house.

The Sea Wolves might have had a 2-1 loss Thursday evening, but the score did little to dampen the enthusiasm and energy at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum as Mississippi hockey fans were the true winners.

“It is so exciting to have hockey back on the coast. For so many reasons, the game is fun, it is great family time and it is a wonderful action-filled sport. We are lucky to have the Sea Wolves back,” Brandi Hoxie, who was in attendance for all three games, commented.

The Mississippi Sea Wolves coming back is a combination of effort by team management, the Mississippi Coast Coliseum, and of course, those who supported the December games. It was a hat-trick effort, and well done!

Tickets for the 2022 season are not for sale yet, but we’ll keep you updated.
