The Jackson County Parks and Recreation Department is inviting its citizens to provide ONLINE feedback and ideas to incorporate into the county’s Parks, Recreation, and Open Space Master Plan. The Master Plan will be developed based on local priorities and national trends to make actionable recommendations to guide investment in facility improvements and recreation programming over the next 10 years.

Jackson County Recreation Department has hired Lose Design to create the master plan document. Lose Design will develop this plan over the coming months.

The information gathered, now through May 31, will help guide the planning and development of recreation investment.  Citizens can find more information and participate in the process by providing input via the project’s interactive website. – https://tinyurl.com/2020JCPRMPU

“We are excited about the future of recreation in Jackson County, and need your help to ensure we meet the needs of you and your families. The input we receive from you will help shape the next ten years of improvements and funding priorities for Jackson County,” shared Darcie Crew, Recreation Director for Jackson County.
