There’s nothing quite like going home, and that’s exactly the feeling that Ben and Erin Napier bring out in their blockbuster hit series on HGTV “Home Town.” Back for their fourth season, the Napiers are prepared to help beautify their hometown of Laurel, Mississippi. Season four premieres Jan. 20 at 8 p.m. on HGTV.
This season, the charming couple will not only help create dream homes in their small town, but they will also bring attention to the destruction that a devastating tornado had on the community, destroying many homes, schools, and historic, legendary trees in the quaint little hamlet. They are determined to do their part to help their fellow citizens and bring back the city to its former glory.
HGTV “Home Town” has created quite a devoted following, not only in the state but also parts near and far. And this season promises to be just as amazing as Erin and Ben breathe new life into sixteen homes in hometown. In her journal entry from November of last year on the Laurel Mercantile Co. website, Erin proclaimed that the homes that they’ve been working on were some of her favorites to date. She is excited for viewers to see the diversity in the architecture and work that they have done this season. “From an airstream to a loft apartment, we’re doing every big and little house in between,” Erin wrote in her blog on Nov. 4, 2019.
Erin promises in her journal entry on Nov. 29, 2019, “It’s our best season ever. Seriously. There is a movie star, a loft, the real-life ‘Little House,’ stories about settling down after traveling the world, saving childhood homes, and one project that’s very personal for @scotsman.co and me. I can’t believe it’s almost here!”
Plus, the season will show pride in the community despite the destruction that a tornado that hit the city and much of the historic district, leaving many without homes and power for days. The community united together to bring help and hope to others, and Erin and Ben bring out that pride in their hometown as they help in any way they can.
