Jackson-George Regional Library System Introduces Family Game Zones in All Branches

Jackson-George County, MS — The Jackson-George Regional Library System (JGRLS) is excited to announce the launch of Family Game Zones across all library branches, starting November 1, 2024. Each Family Game Zone will feature a selection of games, including up to two arcade-style games, various tabletop games, and more. The initiative is aimed at fostering family bonding and community engagement in a safe and welcoming environment.

“We’re thrilled to provide this exciting new amenity to our patrons,” said Angela Stewart, Director of the Jackson-George Regional Library System. “Our goal is to create a safe and inviting area where families can spend quality time together, whether they’re regular visitors or new to our libraries. Families can either come on their own or invite another family to join them for some friendly competition.”

The Family Game Zones will be open during regular library hours, and families are encouraged to stop by and explore the new gaming areas as they enjoy the library’s many other resources.
