Look up Saturday, October 8 at 2 p.m. to watch the Aviation Parade Fly-By at this year’s Cruisin’ the Coast.

Tens of thousands of visitors for Cruisin’ the Coast 2022 are in for an aviation treat when the skies above the Mississippi Sound are cruisin’ with airplanes on Saturday afternoon, starting in Ocean Springs and ending in Bay St. Louis.

“Over 30 planes participated last year, and more are expected in 2022,” Francisco Gonzalez, director of the Mississippi Aviation Heritage Museum, said. “The planes will travel east to west starting at the Ocean Springs bridge.”

The high-flying event is sponsored by the Mississippi Aviation Heritage Museum, which is open Thursday through Sunday and is the perfect pit stop for those participating in Cruisin’ the Coast 2022. The museum offers 22 gallery showcases, telling the stories of John C. Robinson, Jess LeRoy Brown, Stuart Allen Roosa, Fred Haise, Jr., and more.
