Southern Turnings
Start your day by visiting Southern Turnings, a coffee shop, local art gallery, gift shop, and woodworking studio, located on 145 Pine Avenue East (Pine Hill area in Wiggins). Established in 2017, it quickly became a favorite spot serving cheesecake, coffee, espressos, and ice cream while customers can browse the art, jewelry, pottery, and paintings made by locals. Try the Iced Tomcat espresso, which has salted caramel and white chocolate topped with whipped cream and blue sprinkles. Slices of Cotton Blue’s Cheesecake can be found here, along with pimento cheese or chicken salad served on a croissant. Southern Turnings also offers woodturning lessons.
