It’s almost that time of year! The Peter Anderson Festival is slated to return to Ocean Springs November 5-6.

The Peter Anderson Festival began in 1978 when a local artist by the name of Klara Koock presented the idea to the chamber of commerce. Before anyone knew it, the idea had quickly grown into one of the largest festivals on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, now featuring over 400 artists on an annual basis.

Visitors from across the region flock to the area, with an estimated 150,000 in attendance in 2021. The beauty of Ocean Springs with its oak-lined streets offers the perfect setting for artists to show off and sell their creations.

Live bands will provide entertainment throughout the weekend. This year’s lineup includes Karate Kids, Saint Social, Jessica Horton, and more.

Regarding parking, free shuttles will be provided for transportation from various lots to the downtown area.
