A recent study found that Mississippi is one of the nation’s leaders when it comes to personal income growth.

The analysis that came from The Pew Charitable Trusts, which was released last week, shows that nationwide personal income grew by 14.4% while the personal income of Mississippians grew by 19.1%.

The only states that had stronger growth than the Magnolia State were Utah (20%), Idaho (19.4%), and West Virginia (19.2%). Michigan (19.1%) had the same growth as Mississippi.
