Unwind in style at one of Mississippi’s newest glamp-ground getaway! LongLeaf Piney Resort in Hattiesburg, Mississippi provides comfort, convenience, and style all at the same time.  If you’re an outdoors enthusiast who prefers camping in style, check out the Hub City’s newest “glamping” campground!

Tucked away off of Lavel Graves Road, and directly behind mile 10 of the Longleaf Trace 44-mile trail, lies a beautiful oasis of stylish, tiny homes, and a retro camper where visitors and locals alike can enjoy the beauty of the Pine Belt. With the luxuries of home and quick access to all that Hattiesburg has to offer, all you need are some comfortable clothes, a good book, and maybe some s’mores.

Longleaf Piney Resort began as a “labor of love” by Hattiesburg local Sean McGee. McGee is an outdoor enthusiast and local banker who wanted to combine his interest in tiny homes and outdoor recreation.

There are six tiny homes currently: “The Southern Shindig,” “The Fais-Do-Do,” “Julep,” “Roadhouse,” “Humdinger,” and “Hattie’s Hoedown.” These tiny homes provide a premier glamping experience, at an affordable price. Amenities include a kitchen with dishes and a coffee maker, as well linens and towels, hammocks, and a fire pit with firewood. There is also a separate lake house “Shangri La,” on an exclusive separate property located .25 miles from the campground. With an occupancy of 10, including two master suites, this house is a scenic way to enjoy all that Longleaf Trace has to offer.

With hanging cafe lights outside and bikes to ride down the Longleaf Trace, the entire experience is created to refresh and relax those who visit. For those seeking even more adventure, Hattiesburg is also a short drive from Jackson, New Orleans, and the beaches of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Glampers can enjoy a one-of-a-kind stay while also venturing out to other nearby cities as well.

LongLeaf Piney Resort’s motto is “Tiny Houses, Big Living.” Book your stay at a tiny piney house and learn what it means to live large!
