The Grammy Museum of Mississippi is a first class look at music history. The performers, the songs, and the music business are on display in more than two dozen exhibits from rock, blues, hip-hop, jazz to country music. Experience what makes music so important to our lives.

Why a Grammy Museum in Cleveland, Mississippi on the campus of Delta State University? Well, did you know that almost eight percent of Grammy Hits have been recorded by Mississippi musicians? To quote B.B. King, “It all started here.” The museum is a special way to spend the day, learn, explore, and be inspired. There are interactive displays, photos from music history, and so much information on favorite award-winning artists from today and yesterday.

For the upcoming year, you can say, I want my MTV! As MTV turns 40, the Grammy Museum celebrates with a comprehensive, creative exhibit called “I Still Want My MTV.”

For so many, who grew up watching the music channel, this is a perfect way to look back and remember all those MTV milestones and favorite VJ’s. A few superstars include Martha Quinn, Daisy Fuentes, and Downtown Julie Brown.

The MTV exhibit lasts all year, but you don’t want to wait. This exhibit, just like the music, is out of this world.

Exhibit Dates: I Still Want My MTV on display Wednesday through Sunday, May 2021-June 1, 2022.
