The third annual Discover Christmas Parade rolled through downtown Ocean Springs on Sunday, December 5.

Kicking off at 2 p.m., the festive Mardi Gras style parade featured large Christmas-themed floats tossing candy and beads, decorative dancers, and a long line of festively decorated golf carts.

The parade is interactive with the memorable pillow-fighting elves. The elves passed out pillows to spectators. The kids seemed to really enjoy the playful elves as they jousted back and forth with soft pillows.

The streets were hopping with spectators all hoping to get a glimpse of Santa Claus as he rolled past.

The spirit of Christmas was definitely in the air across downtown Ocean Springs as the Discover Christmas Parade sure was a pleasure to watch.
