The fashion will be worn by local models who are paired with a boutique from their community. Admission to the event includes seating, beer and wine, and a live-action dessert station. Live entertainment from the nationwide performer and Gulfport local Bruce Kirkwood will enthrall guests with his skills behind a violin.

“The idea is to connect local models to local boutiques for a great cause.  We have models from Long Beach to Pascagoula participating, and through local interest and support, we only hope to grow this event. Bacot McCarty’s partnership with IP Casino Resort Spa has been critical to Renaissance the Runway’s successful impact on Mississippi Gulf Coast communities,” states executive director of Renaissance the Runway Todd Trenchard.

Renaissance the Runway directly benefits the Robbie Maxwell Scholarship, a fund for nursing and engineering students in hopes of returning to their communities to live and work. This event also benefits 2nd Chance Mississippi, an organization dedicated to raising awareness and funds for adult education and work skills training.

The Bacot McCarty Foundation’s primary mission is to increase philanthropy by making grants to worthy causes, enhancing donor services, while promoting and providing leadership in response to the community’s ever-changing needs. Through events like Renaissance the Runway and The Jolly Memorial Gala and Golf Tournament, Baccot McCarty offers diverse opportunities for local community leaders and organizations to get involved in their communities.

“Bacot McCarty Foundation is widely known for The Jolly Memorial Gala and Golf Tournament. Adding a fashion show to our charity events will help expand our reach for support to local causes,” says Trenchard. “Over the course of 11 years of the memorial gala and golf tournament and four years of Renaissance the Runway IP Casino Resort Spa has donated upwards of three million dollars to our organization and the charities we support.”

Although the event has sold out for large group tickets, individual tickets are still available for $50 and include general admission seating, beer and wine, and a live-action dessert station. For more information and to purchase tickets please visit www.renaissance-the-runway-iv-tickets.com.
