Gautier, Mississippi; September 7, 2022 — The City of Gautier has adopted a new City logo and seal.
The recently adopted logo and seal pay homage to the ecology and wildlife located within Gautier, prominently featuring a Sandhill crane. City officials anticipate the new marketing tools to become an economic driver for the city, as leaders seek to bring new businesses and commerce into city limits.
“We are attempting to bring new life and build excitement for what is to come in Gautier,” City Manager Paula Yancey said. “We have economic development plans that are being implemented, and the new complementary logo and seal will help refresh our brand and build upon our momentum.”
Mayor Casey Vaughan said he hopes the new marketing suite will increase citizen morale and engagement.
“When you look good, you feel good,” he said. “Our citizens are deserving of a quality logo and seal that represents them in a positive manner. Branding is important in staying competitive with other municipalities who are also looking to help grow their communities and recruit businesses.”
The logo and seal were created through the 5C marketing grant program in partnership with Christie Fountain Advertising, the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce, and Chevron Corporation.
